I need to get to JFK from Philly.
What is the easiest way %26amp; least expensive?
Thank you for your help.
Easiest %26amp; Cheapest way to JFK AirportHow sensitive is time?
The cheapest is Septa to NJT to the NY subway system (I%26#39;d have to figure out the exact links). The %26#39;Chinatown bus%26#39; is another option.
Easiest is a sedan service, door to door, which will run about $150-$200 each way depending on time of day.
Easiest %26amp; Cheapest way to JFK AirportMy flight departs JFK at 6:05 PM.
How early must I arrive to check-in?
As Loonbeam said, you can take SEPTA, NJT, and then the subway to AirTran. It would be the A train to Howard Beach, then transfer to Air Tran. Overall, your travel time would be at least 3.5 hours, and that%26#39;s without waiting time. Fare would be $7.00 for the NY Subway (or the LIRR) and AirTran, plus SEPTA and NJT. Probably about $50 altogether. Anyway, here%26#39;s a link for AirTran: http://www.mta.info/mta/airtrain.htm
Check with your airline for check-in time.
Check-in time will vary to destination. In general, for domestic travel allow 2 hrs minimum (3 to be safe), intl travel 3 hrs minimum (4 to be safe).
Drive.
