Great story...thanks for posting it.

This type of vacation can be wonderful, especially for children, but its not for everyone...farms have stinky smells and lots of flies, especially in hot, humid weather. And don%26#39;t assume your room will have AC...more than likely it won%26#39;t...could cause ';culture shock.';

Also don%26#39;t assume your own bathroom or locks on your door. I was not prepared for that - I really didn%26#39;t feel comfortable not being able to lock my door at the farm I was staying at and sharing one bathroom with three other families. When you are booking, be sure to ask about those things.
