Hi all - Since you were all such a help planning my last trip, was hoping you could help me again. In August I am taking my daughter and her friend (11 years old) on a little Lancaster, Hershey and Harrisburg excursion for 3 days. I am trying to put an itinerary together and there is just so much to do and not enough time. Was hoping some of you that have been to any of these places can give me an idea as to what is worth seeing and what is not: Lancaster/Amish/Pa Dutch area: Central Market, Buggy ride (who has the best one?);People%26#39;s Place; Amish Farm and House; Wheatland and restaurants: breakfast @ Lapp%26#39;s Diner, Lunch @ The Family Cupboard and Dinner at the Belvedere Inn. We are then headed to the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel (anyone ever stay here before, if yes, please send your opinion of hotel). In Hershey, History/chocolate trolley tour @ Chocolate World and Hershey Park (favorite sections) and The Boardwalk. Breakfast @ Capitol Diner in Harrisburg - lunch @ Chocolate World (what is the best place to eat here) and dinner at one of these restaurants: Tavern on the Hill, in Enola, PA, Al Mediterraneo in Hummelstown,Firehouse Restaurant in Harrisburg, PA, Morgan’s Palce in Harrisburg (please give some feedback, if you have ever eaten at any of these restaurants)and lastly a tour of the Capitol Building - thanks and really looking forward to hearing from you -
