I am going to Lancaster in July for my Anniv. I go at least twice a year and I am looking for some REAL Amish cooking. Not commercial pretending to be Amish, I want the real deal - like where the Amish would go. I know about Dieners, but would like some other recommendations as well. We will be staying in Bird in Hand but anywhere local will do! Thanks!

The restaurant at the Best Western in Intercourse has always served lots of local Amish men and women when we have eaten there in the past. Plain and simple meals at reasonable prices.

Yoderscountrymarket.com You%26#39;re 6.7miles or 18 minutes from New Holland. The real deal, casual, also has stores and you%26#39;ll see many Amish people.
Don%26#39;t go on a Sunday, it is indeed Amish and they take the day off. You%26#39;ll be right between BlueBall and New Holland. Google for directions, they%26#39;re pretty easy.
