We are leaving on Friday, July 25th to go to Hershey Park. I know 78 can be a nightmare for traffic and am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for an alternate route. Maybe 80 to 81? I am leaving with the kids around 11:00am and my wife is leaving from NYC around 2:00pm. She is dreading the traffic on 78.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best route from Westchester, New York to Hershey Park?
As long as there aren%26#39;t any accidents, either way is fine. Personally, I would do 78w to 81 south to 743 south.
