Campgrounds near Marlton/Philadelphia

We have upcoming business in Marlton, NJ, and will be towing our little Trillium travel trailer. I see there are several nearby campgrounds but can%26#39;t find any reviews. We will only be a few days, but would like a place with peace and quiet, nicely shaded and roomy lots. It%26#39;s just my husband and myself, so we%26#39;re not looking for a place with a lot of activities or even good swimming for that matter. We%26#39;re also not planning on going to the seashore and would prefer to avoid places that are too busy. We%26#39;re coming from Canada. Can anyone recommend anything?

thanks,

Natalie

This is not a big area for camping. Anyone around here who wants to camp goes somewhere else, like Ontario :)

I%26#39;m surprised you found any campgrounds close by. Where are they located? At least we can advise as to whether the area is good or not, and there is an off chance someone may be familiar with the ones you are looking at.

The ones I have listed are:

- Four Seasons Campground in WOodstown

- Lake Kandle Campground in Sewell

- Hospitality Creek Campground in Williamstown

- Old Cedar Campground in Monroeville

- Oldman%26#39;s Creek Campground in Monroeville

- Timberlane Campground in Clarksboro

- Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in Elmer

Thanks!

I think Sewell would be the closest. That area is nice, though I don%26#39;t know about the campground. It%26#39;s about 30 minutes from town, give or take depending on traffic.

I found a few of these reviewed, see links above. None of thse are VERY close to Marlton. The Timberlane seems reasonably convenient to highway and could allow you to also visit Philadelphia.

Hospitality Creek is wonderful! We have stayed there many times in the past. The sites are wooded, there is a HUGE outdoor heated pool and a small, safe lake with a dandy rope swing. There is also a nice hiking path that perimeters the campground. Bathrooms are clean and located conveniently throughout the camp and the owners live on-site, taking care of security.

I drive by this place on the way back from the shore; it might be worth considering. Scrubbie Pines is located on Route 72 in Barnegat, maybe about 20-30 minutes east of Marlton. It%26#39;s a very easy ride, just take 72 West and you run right into 70 West which goes right through Marlton.

I know nothing about Scrubbie Pines, other than that it is out in the Pinelands and looks quiet. It received 2 good reviews on yahoo, fyi.
