great wolf lodge for the day

My family and I are thinking about going to Great Wolf lodge just for the day. Has anyone done this?

I am curious myself. I think for some reason, that you need to stay in the hotel in order to use the waterpark. Maybe I am wrong, but all the literature from the hotel would have you believe that.

My family acutally went to Great Wolf in March in Williamsburg. You do in-fact have to stay at the hotel to get access to the waterpark. It is well worth it.

You do need to stay on site to access the waterpark and alot of people here have said how expensive it is. Let%26#39;s figure this out...in a Family Suite you can have 4 people or 5 for an additional $15 per night. Let%26#39;s say it%26#39;s $358 for an average night (without offered discounts).

In the summertime, when you go to a waterpark, it%26#39;s approx $25 per person for 3 hours. This is 13 1/2 hrs that you can access the waterpark per day. Even if you stay for one day, you can enter the waterpark at 1pm the day you check in (9 hrs), hotel room for the night, check out at 11am with access the waterpark until closing (10pm). So, it%26#39;s $100 (based on $25) for the first 3 hrs (first day), $100 for the second day (you actually get a full day for this) plus approx $158 for the hotel room which includes story time for the kids, etc. It%26#39;s alot less expensive than a Waterpark in Wildwood! The food really wasn%26#39;t any good when I stayed there (2 weeks after opening) so eat outside, you won%26#39;t spend any more than you would for bad food.

My son and I have to date stayed at 4 of the Great Wolf Lodges. While some of the others do sell waterpark only passes, the Pocono site does not. I agree with the above post that if you factor in the cost of the hotel and wayerpark tix, the price becomes more reasonable. To save $$: check the great wolf website for specials( I always go when I can get a discount) and bring snacks/drinks with you. All the rooms have a microwave and a fridge. Hope this helps

Its worth it if you can go during one of their specials which sometimes are under $200 per night. We stayed 2 nights and loved it. I would have stayed a 3rd night if I could have.

I stayed here with my 3 kids and of course passes were included for us. My friend who lives nearby spent the day with us and we were able to get her passes at $20 per day for her and her two kids. You either have to stay there or know someone who is staying there.

I work with a guy that takes his son for the day at a cost of 20.00 per person. He said they have daily rates and you don%26#39;t have to stay over night.

I called them, directly, and they said that the waterpark was exclusively for the use of their hotel guests. I just find that hard to believe!!
