Parrotheads to descend next week- where's the party?

We will be arriving for our annual Buffett concert and need to know about the pre/post concert events. Any Parrotheads out there who can fill us in? Also what about the traffic pattern- it was awful last year. Party bus?

Parrotheads to descend next week- where's the party?

Traffic, if you don%26#39;t plan properly is always a nightmare heading to and from the Post Gazette Pavillion.

Recommend getting to the lot right as it opens (close to 4) and join the many parties in the LOT.

Parrotheads to descend next week- where's the party?

That would work for getting there, but we were once asked to leave the lot in Columbus about 90 min after a Buffett concert- security wanted to go go home- our cheeseburgers and shrimp were still on the grill; when does the lot close? LOL

After the show last year, we stayed in the parking lot until most of the cars were gone so there wouldnt be so much traffic when we left. We watched everyone hurry out of the lot while we drank what was left of our drinks! Im not sure when they start to kick you out though...

Almost one week away!! Can%26#39;t wait!!!

me neither- we stayed near the airport last year and there were parties before and after the concert.

Muscle,

How long does it take to cook a burger! LOL.

We too were at the Airport Holiday Inn last year and there were night before pre-parties and then after parties.

We got to the lot around noon or 12:30 and got in without problem. Get there at 4pm and you%26#39;ll be sitting in traffic for a while.

We are also members of buffettnews.com and they have had a thread running since February about this. We met some great folks from this site on our Road Trip to Pittsburgh.

Enjoy and Phins Up!

Staying at Holiday Inn Express (also airport)%26gt; Monday night big party with Tom Watt (Buffett impersonator) Tuesday using bus... will get us there hours before concert to enjoy tailgating. No worrying about traffic this way... back to hotel.

Well guys- you know it takes awhile to grill those burgers- seems we are always a bit ';distracted';. I like the bus idea...any info on that- like cost, boarding area, time of departure etc?

Just got the info today about buses from Holiday Inn Express... all 3 buses have been filled for many wks now.. do not know of any other buses but i am sure there are somewhere as the parking lot gets filled with them. Sorry

Wonder if they will fill a fourth bus if there is interest. We obviously will need to get there really early-no wonder traffic was so bad last year- we didn%26#39;t leave for the concer til 4:30
