things to do?

I know we can go to the beach and swim at Presque Isle State Park but what else is there to do there? I have read about the Maritime Museum but cant find out much about it. Is it worth the time? Does it cost? WE will have about half of day or so to sight see and the other have spent rsting at the beach.

Most of the things to do in Erie involve outdoor activities. You could still go to Presque Isle and stay away from the beach - rent a paddle boat, sail boat, walk the nature trail, parasail. Another option is a fishing charter. Waldamere Park / Water World. You could always head out to North East for some wine tastings. Like you said, the Maritime Museum and USS Brig Niagara. Shopping on Peach Street, but nothing you wouldn%26#39;t find in St. Louis I%26#39;m sure.

Lots of options but not a lot of ';sight-seeing'; if you know what I mean...
