Visiting Historic District

We (Family of 5) in two weeks are flying into Phl arriving at lunchtime on a Tueday and flying out that Saturday late afternoon. We are planning 2 nights in Hershey and 2 nights in Lancaster. Looking for advid as to whether we should visit the historic parts of PHL on Tue when we arrive or wait until Sat morining/noontime prior to flying out of PHL? Any advice on Historic distriction, Liberty Bell, Indepence Hall being busier on week day verses a weekend?

Visiting Historic District

It%26#39;s a shame that you can%26#39;t allocate more time to see the sights in Philly. Nevertheless, based on your schedule I%26#39;d say coming in to Philly early morning on Sat. makes the most sense based on your late departure time on Sat...you should not hit any traffic driving into Philly from Lancaster/Hershey on Sat am. In addition, you can pre-reserve your timed tickets to Independence Hall which will streamline your visit

however, the Liberty Bell is not prereserved so you%26#39;ll have to stand in line for that; if you have time also consider a visit to the National Constitution Center
