Gettysburg restaurant

We will be in Gettysburg one night and it is my husbands birthday. I am looking for a neat place for a birthday dinner. suggestions?

Gettysburg restaurant

Cashtown Inn is one of the best around and for this area the most ambitious. I work in Center City Phildelphia, I did not think it lived up to the hype friends had placed on it but they all seemed to love it. http://www.cashtowninn.com/

The Dobbin House has servers in Period Dress has nive ambience. http://www.dobbinhouse.com/

I agree with Awino...go to Cashtown. It is 7 miles out of Gettysburg, but it is worth it. Especially if you research the Inn. It was in the movie ';Gettysburg'; %26amp; was used as a headquarters. We ate there on July 4th %26amp; it beat both the Dobbin House %26amp; Farnsworth House by far!!!

Jean, We do gettysburg several times a year also. If you are looking for something alittle more casual and reasonable priced I would send you to Olivia%26#39;s. Its greek food.....Soooooo good. OR the Pub is another favorite with us. Cashtown is pricey, the food was ok but the history behind it is what keeps us going back.
