Looking for restaurant for special occasion.

Looking for a restaurant to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. A small gathering (10 people.) But I will be footing the bill so the Hershey Hotel is out. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Tavern on the Hill in Enola is very good. Their prices are a little less than the Hotel Hershey but still a bit on the high side. What sort of price per person would you be willing to pay? That would help to narrow down suggested restaurants.

Thanks for your help. I was hoping for 20-25 per entree. Would you happen to know a good Italian restaurant. That would be anniversary couple%26#39;s favorite.

I have not been to this restaurant personally but have heard good reports.

Gabriella Italian Ristorante

3907 Jonestown Rd

Harrisburg, PA 17109

(717) 540-0040

This might be too casual or too far, but we always have a great time at Davenport%26#39;s Italian Oven over in Camp Hill. They have a special room for banquets, and you can bring your own beer or wine. The portobello lasagna is wonderful!

I second Gabriella%26#39;s. They have an antipasto plate that could be a meal. Have that, a glass or two of wine, some bread and go home happy! Otherwise, they also have a lot of other excellent choices.

Another interesting spot, although not Italian, is Sasha%26#39;s Hideaway on Linglestown Road. It has a ';Casablanca'; or Caribbean theme (can%26#39;t decide which) and a lot of good seafood and meat entrees.
