I have tickets for a Friday evening showing of The Dark Knight (IMAX). Is it safe to assume this theater serves the typical movie food and drink (popcorn, nachos, soft drinks, etc)? I%26#39;m not sure if I%26#39;ll have a chance to pick up dinner after work and before the show. Thanks!
IMAX theater at Franklin Institute
My guess would be yes as most Imax are just a section within a movie theater. KOP and I think the one in Fort Lauderdale are setup this way.
I would call them just to be sure.
IMAX theater at Franklin Institute
I dont%26#39; recall there being a movie theater type concession stand for the IMAX at the Franklin Institute. There is a cafe in the Atrium that is open until 8pm on Saturday. So you could get food and snacks there until 8pm there, I%26#39;m just not sure the food is allowed to be taken inside IMAX theater. You should call.

I called and they told me they do have regular ';movie food';. Thanks!
Have you been yet? I was there last night %26amp; can confirm the concession stand was up and running and food can be taken into the theater. Usual movie stuff is sold like popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, candy, sodas.
We were there about 35 minutes early for the 7:45 show. It was none too early. There was already a fairly long line for seating that had formed. You have to stand in line then they let you into the theater 10 min before showtime and the theater fills right up. Don%26#39;t be late!!
