Management say’s we will probably find them in our suit case!!

We left one Apple iPod in the dresser drawer next to our bed and the other one next to our TV . Both are gone and we filled a police report. Management says they can not help us with this, they believe in their 4 day old house keeper one cannot spoke any English and the one doesn’t know anything. This hotel had only been open for 9 day’s on our arrival date. We stay for 7 day’s .Great new hotel, but lock your stuff in your car because no in room safe! And don’t plain on any help from management.

Why in the world would you leave 2 ipods hanging around anyway? When I leave our hotel room i leave nothing of value hanging around.

I realize now when you stay at this hotel I must hide everything ! I forgot that they stole our qutip case to! Were does it end ?

I guess $160.00per night is a discount Hotel like The Hilton Group ?

I understand your anger and obvious desire to vent and because of your post, potential clients at this property who come here (Trip Advisor) first may be more careful. This post of course does not replace your missing property (qutip case) but please don%26#39;t criticize someone for their inability to speak English (you obviously feel the maid was responsible or at least with knowledge) -

Normally writing in English is much easier than speaking it so please keep your criticism to the hotel and not to our (United States of America) ability to hire immigrants with less than (in your opinion) satisfactory skills in the spoken English word. Other than that - welcome to Trip Advisor.

I apologize about saying (their 4 day old house keeper one cannot spoke any English) that was how the house keeping manager referred to her staff from the 3rd world county. Letting us know that her staff does not know what a Ipod is.

Again accept my apologize. And I do not know who or why they stole my stuff

First and foremost I would like to ask why you have posted this in the hershey forum as it is something that transpired in Lancaster. Secondly I have to say that a blanket negative first post is usually something to be questioned. I understand you might be upset by what happened, however what were your other impressions of the hotel and lancaster.
