Doubletree Hotel

We will be first time visitors to Philly for a concert in a couple weeks. I am hoping someone can give me some honest feedback on our hotel choice.

We have booked the Doubletree Hotel Downtown. Is this a good choice? Location? Nearby attractions?

Advice is much appreciated!

Doubletree Hotel

The Doubletree has a very nice central location on Broad St also called Avenue of the Arts because of the location of theaters and concert halls along the street. You will also have a nice view of city hall. Take a walk up Walnut St. to Rittenhouse Sq (18th st) for upscale shopping. You are near many nice restaurants as well.

You can use the Phlash tourist bus to get around, the nearest stop to your hotel is Broad and Chestnut about 2 blocks from your hotel. gophila.com/C/…1303.html

Doubletree Hotel

The doubletree is a very good hotel, especially for concerts, depending on where the concert is. If I had one issue, its that a lot of the good dining is a little walk away. But the quality of the hotel and the convenience of access to transport more than makes up for it

You will be fine at the Doubletree. Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Enjoy!
