How long to get to Indepence Hall

I%26#39;m considering taking the Phlash from the Pkwy %26amp; 19th to Indepence Hall. I%26#39;m planning to purchase a timed ticket and since the Phlash doesn%26#39;t start running until 10 am, I%26#39;m wondering what time I should go for.

Or would it be just as easy to take the subway? Since Independence Hall opens at 9am I hate to waste 1.5 hours of time waiting just to ride the Phlash.

You can walk it if the weather is nice. It%26#39;s about 1.5 miles- 30 minute walk. You can take most busses on Market Street (5-10 minute ride). Just ask the driver if he goes to 6th %26amp; Market. Subway is possible but not necessary.

If you don%26#39;t have disbility problems, walk. A stroll down the Parkway is always nice, you can then circle around City Hall, which is an interesting building to walk around, then go down Market Street. If walking is a problem, jump in cab. It will only be a few dollars and you won%26#39;t waste your morning waiting for 10 a.m.

Agreed. Don%26#39;t wait for the Phlash. Walk, subway, bus are all better options than wasting the time.
