Where can I get a good dessert ???? We are staying at the Hershey Lodge.

The Hotel Hershey has great chocolate desserts - I like the chocolate cream pie. Panera Bread (off the road in front of the lodge heading toward HersheyPark) has a nice assortment of cookies, muffins, danishes. As a side bar - The Fractured Prune Donut Shoppe at 18 Briarcrest Square, Route 322, Hershey - very close to the Hershey Lodge - has awesome hot, fresh donuts.

Another suggestion is the cafe inside Chocolate World at the entrance to HersheyPark. I haven%26#39;t personally had dessert there, other than the cookies, but everything looks great.
The Bear%26#39;s Den, a restaurant in the Lodge, has the Hockey Puck. It%26#39;s a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce. My daughter and I stop by sometimes just to get it.
I was very disappointed at the chocalate desserts at Hotel Hershey in the Circular Room. What they call a Souffle was no where near that and a waste of $10. It had an overdone brownie on top with underdone chocolate goo underneath.
Hands down, get a piece of Peanut Butter Pie at the Hotel Hershey!!
It is expensive ($8, I think) but delicious!! It is big enough to share...if you%26#39;re willing.
If you are staying at the Lodge, you should be able to take a shuttle to the Hotel if you need to, or just drive over. In my opinion, a visit to Hershey isn%26#39;t complete without a walk through the Hotel anyway. It is a gem both inside and out. Walk through the gardens at The Hotel. It is beautiful and gives you a very small taste of the Hershey Gardens across the street!

The peanut butter pie is exactly what is on our taste buds for our trip in Sept 2008. We were not sure if you can only get the PB pie only at The Circular Dining Room or if it is also available at the Hershey Lodge, where we are staying. We are also planning on spending some time at the Hershey Spa.
