Marriott TownePlace Suites Harrisburg Hershey

Has anyone stayed at this new Hotel?

Marriott TownePlace Suites Harrisburg Hershey

Yes! My family stayed there for the 4th of July! It was a nice hotel in a very nice location...but it did have some flaws...such as very thin walls, some construction flaws, and many computer problems which caused lots of problems regarding my reservation. I took pictures and will post a review real soon!

Yes, we stayed here at the end of June and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The decor of the hotel was very modern and pleasing to the eye, quite different from any other hotel I%26#39;ve stayed at. The service staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. They had directions and information for me printed out and waiting at the front desk for my check in. The rooms were spacious, and relatively quiet. The kitchenette was more than I had hoped for, and having those LCD TVs in each of the bedrooms really added a nice touch too. I%26#39;d recommend anyone stay at this great new property.

Just stayed this past Sunday night. Destination was Hershey Park--and at only 10 miles away from both Hershey Park and from downtown Harrisburg (we went to City Island mini golfing--great place) it was a perfect location. Very nice new hotel. We are a Marriott Rewards member, so my night was a freebie (and at only 10,000 points, I could not go wrong!). I usually stay in Marriott Fairfields or timeshares, but this was nice for the night. The room was clean and nicely decorated with a kitchenette and the staff was extremely nice. Only downfall--I thought the bed was too hard, but hubby disagreed. A really great stay! I could definitely recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel in June. It was clean and the staff was nice, but I found the suite sized rooms tiny for a family. There%26#39;s a kitchen, a decent sized bathroom and a walk in closet with two doors. However, the living area is cramped if you use the sofa bed. The full size bed and the not quite full size sofa bed practically touch at the foot of the beds so there%26#39;s not a lot of wiggle room. It%26#39;s a square sized room so that%26#39;s why the beds are situated that way. My kids are young, so if you plan on more than two adults or if you have teens with you in one suite, it will be tight unless someone sleeps in the kitchen!! The breakfast is also very light, definitely below those of a Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn. There%26#39;s cereal, things to microwave or muffins/pastries in a package. Small seating area, maybe 10 tables of four. You can take what you need for the day though. We stayed at 6 Marriott properties on our trip and I would rank this hotel #6 of the 6 hotels.
