I like the Hammonds %26amp; Uncle Henry%26#39;s hard pretzels and usually stock up on them when we go to Lancaster. I even do mail order during the year. I havent tried any others but would like some suggestions on some other good brands.
whats your favorite pretzel?Hammonds is my Hard pretzel favorite...
whats your favorite pretzel?Ours is Unique Pretzels, variety is
Splits. We now leave in ATL and so we buy boxes to last until the next relative brings more. Or we do mail order.
They are out of Reading.
I do agree with Unique splits, but for hard pretzels, Hammonds.
I have my new favorite pretzel. Martins is very very good better than the other two I listed. I just did a mail order because i heard good things about the pretzels and they are very crunchy, definitely worth the extra money.
I agree with Ginger! See the Martin website at www.martinspretzels.com, where one can place an order for these tasty items--well worth the $$s!
Just be sure that you have a good set of teeth to be able to eat them. lol!!!
A special treat for pretzel lovers visiting Lancaster is to stop in the Hammond%26#39;s outlet store %26amp; buy some warm-from-the-oven pretzels. They also sell broken pretzel pieces at reduced prices.
The store is at the bakery on West End Ave. near Manor St. (this is on the city%26#39;s southwest outskirts).
Martin%26#39;s I think also does this...their bakery is in Akron, north of Lancaster on Rt. 272.
Unique Splits are my current favorite- especially the cheese splits, which for whatever reason are almost impossible to find in local stores when I visit. Martin%26#39;s, Hammond%26#39;s, and Mummas are also good. Mummas is on 4th St, just off Manor St., and available at the Farmer%26#39;s Market- a MUST visit on Friday or Saturday mornings.
Try Unique Pretzels. They are the best!!!

Try Unique Pretzels, they are my absolute favorite.
They make the ';Splits'; pretzel. Don%26#39;t ask questions, just try them.
They have some new flavors in their store that are coming soon, like ';garlic and onion'; and ';multigrain'; too. Sooooooo good
